This SWB 88 Landy was exported as a kit we understand to South Africa in 1966.
There is no history available from then until 2017 when it was imported back to the UK where it has had
some restoration.
It was reported that the engine and gearbox were overhauled in Kenya but there is no supporting documentation for this .
The brake system has been fully replaced.
The fuel system has been fully replaced
The wiring harness has been fully replaced
The dynamo has been replaced with an alternator ( Kenya )
The front leaf springs have been replaced with parabolics
The speedo was replaced with 2nd hand UK unit as previous was in KMH – also read 0
The engine is a 2.25 petrol – hassle with the listing which wont let me put that in
Many other parts have been replaced – too many to list however the cost of parts exceeds £3k
