Welcome to the sale of this very odd, very rare 116″ 1991 Discovery 200tdi. This was built as a prototype ambulance by Land Rover and subsequently sold on to various ambulance services over the years until it’s retirement.
I have owned this since the end of 2019 with the ambition of turning it into a camper/overlander however, life somewhat got in the way and as a result have only put about 600 miles on it. During my time with it I have had the bodywork professionally refurbished as it was in a very poor state, I have many pictures and the relevant paperwork to show this.
It has just passed its MOT so is fully roadworthy, having only covered 39,000 miles in the last 30 years the engine and drivetrain is extremely strong and ready for many more years of service, it is a blast to drive.

The outside has been covered in a ‘raptor’ style coating, the area in the back has been ply lined ready to be fitted out, the suspension has been replaced with heavy duty suspension.
I have a plethora of spares that will be sold with the vehicle including original air conditioning from a 200tdi. This is a blank canvas ready to be made into something that you can be sure no one else will have!
